Article 1 (General Provisions)
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern all relationships between G.EN PROJECT (G.EN Co., Ltd., registration number: 2 1200 0128 2458, hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and you (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") who use the website " genprojectjp.com " (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") operated by the Company. These Terms also apply to purchases of products from the Site and orders placed with the Company's customer service via telephone, email, or live chat (collectively, "Use of the Site"). The Company does not guarantee that all products listed on the Site are in stock or available for purchase. The Company reserves the right to discontinue sales of products. Orders can only be placed by persons aged 18 or over. The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision will be set forth in the final section of these Terms. You are responsible for keeping up to date with such changes. Please note that the Terms that apply to your order are the version in effect at the time of your order, not any subsequently revised version. Article 3 (Order)
By using this Site and/or placing an order via this Site, telephone, email, or live chat, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, please do not place an order. Before placing an order, please confirm that you have read and understood these Terms. Before placing an order, you will be given an opportunity to review your selections, entered information, and order total and to correct any input errors. Please note that items added to your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until your order is confirmed and an order confirmation email is sent. If your connection to the Site is lost due to extended periods of inactivity, your selected items may be lost. In this case, you will need to reselect the items in your shopping cart.
Article 4 (Account)
All orders placed on this website, genprojectjp.com , are stored in our customer management system. This information includes your shipping and billing addresses, as well as your order history.
You can freely set your login password. After logging in, you can view your profile, including information such as your order history, shipping and billing addresses. All profiles can be deleted by contacting us at info@genprojectjp.com .
Article 5 (Order Confirmation)
After you submit your order, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number, details of the ordered items, payment details, and shipping details. Please note that the confirmation email is an acknowledgement that your order has been received, but does not constitute acceptance of your order. If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your order, please contact us at info@genprojectjp.com .
Article 6 (Order Acceptance and Shipment Confirmation)
Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to availability. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing all pertinent information about your order. This shipping confirmation email or in-store pickup instructions constitute our acceptance of your order. We do not guarantee that all products displayed on the Site will be in stock at the time of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you promptly by phone or email. If you have already paid for such products, we will refund the purchase price.
Article 7 (Price)
Prices and delivery charges displayed on the Site include sales tax/VAT. Prices may differ between in-store and on the Site. We also reserve the right to cancel orders even after they have been accepted if we discover or should have discovered that the pricing information is incorrect. Delivery charges will be displayed when you select your delivery method during checkout.
Prices are displayed in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, and HKD. You can choose from these currencies when you first visit the site. You can also change your preferred currency later. Prices displayed do not include service fees, transaction fees, or delivery charges.
If you do not accept the shipment and a charge is incurred, you will be responsible for any additional costs and will be charged all costs and expenses associated with the return shipment, including shipping, taxes, prepayment fees, restocking fees, or any other additional charges.
For pre-orders and made-to-order items, your card will be charged in advance and you will be notified by email in such cases.
Article 8 (Personalized Products
Personalized products are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged. Once you submit your order and we have reviewed it, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order has been processed and accepted, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Personalized products may take longer to be delivered than the standard delivery times displayed on the Site. Due to their distinctly personal nature and being made specifically for a specific customer, personalized products cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. Likewise, you do not have the right to cancel your order.
Article 9 (Payment Methods)
The following payment methods are available:
Credit and Debit Cards <br/>We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept the following debit cards: Visa and Maestro. (Maestro and Visa Electron: please check with your issuing bank to see if your card is eligible for online purchases). Visa and Mastercard purchases are authenticated via SecureCode. Please note that your card will be debited for the purchase amount when we send you an order confirmation email. We strive to make our site as secure as possible. Payments will be debited and settled from your account upon our acceptance of your order. You confirm that the credit/debit card you use is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the cardholder to use it. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by their card issuers. If your payment card issuer does not authorise payment to us, your order will be cancelled. We are not responsible for any fees or penalties that may be imposed by payment providers as a result of processing the payment for your order.
PayPal
If you select the PayPal option, you will be taken to the PayPal site where you can "Log In", review the displayed amount, and click "Pay Now". Once this transaction is complete, you will be returned to this site.
Article 10 (Delivery)
Shipping Methods <br/>We offer a variety of shipping methods to suit your needs. Please see details at checkout. Orders may take up to 7 business days to be dispatched, however we aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours on weekdays and within 1-2 business days during sales. Please note that delivery times are estimates only and are calculated from the date of dispatch. Delivery times do not take into account possible delays due to payment approval or stock availability.
If we are unable to complete the delivery within 30 days, you may have the right to cancel your purchase. Your order will be delivered by DHL Express to your nominated delivery address, or to your nominated store if you have selected in-store collection.
For orders that do not qualify for our free shipping, shipping costs are as follows:
Japan: 3000 JPY, USA: 20 USD, UK: 20 GBP, EU: 20 EUR, Other countries: 25 USD
For security reasons, we reserve the right to ship initial orders to the cardholder's confirmed billing or business address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing your order.
Article 11 (Returns and Exchanges)
Return Policy
G.EN PROJECT accepts returns within 30 days of receiving your order. Your order must be returned within 30 days of receiving it to be returned to our returns center for a refund. If the item is returned after this period, it will be returned to you.
Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. See "Return Costs" below for specific return shipping costs based on your location. To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in perfect condition, free of signs of use or wear, in their original packaging, undamaged, and unused. If ordering multiple items, please place each item in its original, matching plastic bag. Placing multiple items in the same bag may cause scratches or dents, making your return unacceptable. Returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival, and we reserve the right to refuse any items that do not meet these standards. If you purchased G.EN PROJECT products from another retailer, please contact the retailer directly to inquire about their policies. We are not responsible for products purchased from other retailers. How to Return an Item<br/>If you would like to make a return, please contact our Customer Service team by clicking on the "Help" bar on the right side of the screen to start a chat. Return Costs <br/>You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. This amount will be deducted from the final refund amount.

G.EN PROJECT does not offer any exchange service. If you would like to change the size of the product or purchase a completely different product, you will need to place a new order in addition to processing a refund for the original order. We only make exceptions if the product is faulty or if the wrong product was delivered.
Important Information <br/>All returns must be sent via DHL Worldwide Express and a return label can be obtained by contacting info@genprojectjp.com . We are not responsible for products sent via third-party delivery services. You are responsible for your products until they are collected or dropped off at a service point. Please keep your delivery receipt and tracking number for proof of delivery and tracking. Returned products are rigorously inspected upon arrival and we reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these standards. G.EN PROJECT will only issue a full refund if the product is in the same condition as when it was delivered. Please note that if the returned product is not returned in perfect condition, an amount equivalent to the product's value may be deducted. We will issue a full refund, including shipping costs, for returns due to a complaint or if we have sent the wrong product due to our error. We cannot accept returns on made-to-order products or pure gold products.
Article 12 (Defective Products)
If you receive faulty goods, you must notify us as soon as possible and within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. If we reasonably believe that the goods are in fact faulty, we reserve the right to send you an identical non-faulty replacement or to refund you the full amount, including shipping costs.
Article 13 (Quality Assurance)
This warranty is designed in accordance with the Consumer Contract Act of Japan and related laws and regulations and applies to the purchase of jewelry and rings on genprojectjp.com . This warranty is in addition to any statutory rights of consumers.
Warranty period
G.EN PROJECT offers a general warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase on all jewelry, bracelets, earrings and rings.
Warranty Coverage <br/>Material and Workmanship Defects: Covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur within the warranty period. This includes defects in materials and finish, welding, stone setting, etc.
Defects covered by the warranty: structural or design defects that affect the functionality of the product; improper operation of clasps, hinges or other accessories; loose or dislodged gemstones due to incorrect stone setting.
Warranty Requirements: To take advantage of the warranty, you must contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the defect or malfunction. We reserve the right to assess each individual warranty claim.
Warranty Obligations <br/>Repair or Replacement: In the event of a valid warranty claim, we will repair or replace the product with an equivalent product at no additional cost to you. We reserve the right to repair the product up to three times before considering a refund.
Refunds <br/>If repair or replacement is not possible or involves unreasonable expense, you may be entitled to a reduced price or a full refund, in accordance with applicable law.
Warranty Limitations <br/>Normal Wear: The warranty does not cover wear that occurs with normal use and aging.
Abuse or Negligence: Damage caused by abuse, negligence, accident, or lack of care is not covered by the warranty.
Unauthorized Modifications: The warranty does not cover jewelry or rings that have been modified, repaired or adjusted by anyone other than G.EN PROJECT or a third party authorized by us.
Damage caused by external factors: The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, fires, natural disasters or other external influences, including, for example, damage to the pavement caused by carelessness or accidents.
Violation of Instructions: Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions and maintenance recommendations (e.g., attempting to clean the product with harmful chemicals) is not covered by the warranty.
Specific wear: scratches or contact marks, possible loss of gemstones due to abrasion, discoloration of metals or gemstones due to chemicals, wear of clasps, hooks, etc. over time, loss of natural surface luster.
